For over twenty years, RCK has led efforts to protect and promote the well-being, voice, and dignity of displaced populations and their host communities, ensuring their rights are respected and their needs are met.
Since its establishment, the Refugee Consortium of Kenya (RCK) has evolved into a leading indigenous institution advancing protection and inclusion for displaced populations, while remaining true to its founding mission. Over the years, RCK has:

- Shaped Public Opinion and Discourse – Engaged in sustained advocacy and awareness efforts to safeguard the well-being, voice, and dignity of refugees, asylum seekers, and other forcibly displaced persons.
- Strengthened Strategic Partnerships – Fostered strong and collaborative relationships with the Government of Kenya at national and county levels, as well as with regional and international stakeholders.
- Institutionalized Systems and Accountability – Established resilient operational systems and governance structures that underpin RCK’s credibility, integrity, and the trust of the communities it serves.
